2. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files that websites send to the User's device (computer, smartphone, tablet), where they are stored and retransmitted to those websites on the next visit. Through cookies, a site can recognise the User's device, store preferences and offer a consistent browsing experience.
There are session cookies, which are deleted when the browser is closed, and persistent cookies, which remain stored on the device for a set period or until manually deleted.
3. Types of cookies used
The Site may use the following categories of cookies:
- Strictly necessary technical cookies — essential to the functioning of the Site; no consent required.
- Statistical / analytics cookies — used to analyse traffic in aggregated form; subject to consent.
- Third-party cookies — generated by external services embedded in the pages; subject to consent.
The Site does not use profiling cookies for advertising purposes or remarketing cookies.
4. Strictly necessary technical cookies
Technical cookies are strictly necessary for the operation of the Site. Without them, some features would not be available.
- session cookies for navigation management;
- cookies for saving language and accessibility preferences;
- technical cookies set by the booking platform integrated in the Site.
Technical cookies do not require the User's consent pursuant to applicable legislation.
5. Statistical / analytics cookies
The Site may use statistical traffic analysis tools to understand how Users interact with pages and improve the browsing experience. Data collected is processed in aggregated and anonymised form, without enabling direct identification of the User.
Where analytics cookies are active, the User will be informed via a consent banner on first access and may freely choose whether to accept or refuse this category of cookies. Consent may be withdrawn at any time as described in section 8.
6. Third-party cookies
Some pages may embed content from external services such as videos or maps. Such integrations may result in cookies being set by the respective third-party providers, even without direct interaction by the User.
The Data Controller has no direct control over cookies set by third-party providers and invites the User to consult the privacy policies of the respective services.
Embedded video content (e.g. Vimeo)
Where present, videos embedded via Vimeo may generate technical and statistical cookies managed by Vimeo, LLC (USA). Such cookies are only activated with the User's prior consent.

7. Itineris booking system
The Site integrates an online booking system accessible at prenotazioni.itinerisresort.com — a system managed directly by the Data Controller.
Use of the booking system may involve the setting of strictly necessary technical cookies for the correct conduct of the booking session. These cookies are strictly technical in nature and do not require consent.
Personal data entered by the User during booking is processed in accordance with the Site's Privacy Policy, available on request from the Data Controller.
8. Consent management
On first access to the Site, the User is informed of cookie use via a banner. Through this banner it is possible to:
- accept all cookies (technical and optional);
- refuse optional cookies, allowing only strictly necessary technical ones;
- access detailed settings by category.
Consent given may be withdrawn at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. To withdraw consent the User may:
- delete cookies via browser settings (see section 9);
- contact the Data Controller at the details in section 1.
9. Managing cookies via browser
Independently of preferences expressed on the Site, the User may manage, limit or delete cookies directly from their browser settings. Note that disabling all cookies may impair the correct functioning of some pages.
10. Data retention
Session technical cookies are automatically deleted when the browser is closed. Persistent cookies have a duration indicated by each provider, not exceeding what is strictly necessary for the purpose for which they were set.
Data collected via analytics cookies, where active, is retained in aggregated form for the time necessary for statistical analysis purposes, in compliance with the GDPR principles of minimisation and storage limitation.
11. Changes to this policy
The Data Controller reserves the right to modify this Cookie Policy at any time, including due to regulatory or technological changes. Changes will be published on this page with the update date indicated.
In the event of material changes affecting the User's data processing, the Data Controller will provide adequate notice.
This Cookie Policy is drawn up in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018, and the Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools of the Italian Data Protection Authority (Provision of 10 June 2021, no. 231).
